All set up and ready for day one at All About Dogs Newark! Satsuki, Kaika and baby Nue are representing the Hokkaido Ken today, with a visit from Nami the Kai Ken to represent Kai Ken Club of Great Britain.

We are all set up for day 1 of the We Love Dogs National Indoor Dog Show at The South Of England Show Ground. It’s wet today but all stalls are under cover!

The Hokkaido Ken Film Project has begun a crowdfunding campaign with the aim of bringing the Hokkaido Ken to the big screen and introducing the breed to a wider audience!

Their ambitious plan involves hiring a film crew in Japan and seeking out Hokkaido Ken breed preservationists, as well as researching Ainu history and the impact that these dogs had on their lives.

Maybe you own a dog-related business and would like to sponsor a worthy cause? Or maybe you're a breed enthusiast looking to make a small difference to the plight of the Hokkaido Ken?
