This Week's Highlights
We've had a brilliant start following the Easter break.
On Monday, we had a great welcome back session, catching up on what we did and discussing our next group outing. We also tried out a new game, leaving our ego at one side and looking silly.
Tuesday was National Gardening Day! We planted Basil, Cress and Strawberry seeds. We’re excited now to watch them grow and use them in our lunchtime recipes.
On Wednesday craftmaking, we continued practising our best handwriting and colouring to make a beautiful A-Z book to sell at our Autism Voice Craft stalls this summer. We also started a new project on painted wooden sign.
On Thursday we headed off to the Moving On Up Transition event at the Royal Festival Hall, where our incredible staff hosted a stall and provided advice and support to young people and parents/carers on post-education support for young people with SEND. The focus of the event was to support young people to explore their post-education options, with a particular emphasis on employment and training pathways.
On Thursday we also attended and hosted a stall at the Southwark Autism Support Team's Autism Awareness Month coffee morning for autistic people and their families in Southwark, held at the Park College in Kennington.
We've had a truly meaningful week.

Collaborative Working
This week, as part of our collaborative effort with partners, we hosted a team from South London and Maudsley NHS Lewisham and a team from the SAFE PPIE Plymouth University. The goal of the visits was to better understand our work and the people we work with to foster an effective collaborative working relationship. The meetings were enlightening, hopeful and we look forward to these partnerships.
