Ealing Parent Carer Forum

Ealing Parent Carer Forum A community forum for parents and carers of disabled children and young people aged between 0 and 25 who live in Ealing. Promoting parents as experts.

We work together to try and make life better for us and our children by:
Giving families an opportunity to share and learn from experiences. Supporting families to access information about their rights. Working with service providers to develop new services and review the effectiveness
of what they are providing now. Supporting families to advocate for themselves and their children effectively. W

hat are our Core Beliefs? We believe that Carers Are Real Experts when it comes to their children’s needs. We believe that our children will receive better services if parent carers work together
with providers to design services. We believe that families needs are more likely to be met if parent carers have a clear
and united voice. What are our Aims? To represent the views, aspirations and challenges faced by parent carers in Ealing and their families to service providers. To use parent and carers expert knowledge about the strengths and weaknesses of the services used by their families to influence positive change. To support parent carers to feel confident representing themselves and their families needs in a positive and constructive manner.

Hi everyone,
Ealing Parent Carer Forum have been asked to send out a survey to our families, from the National Network of Parent Carer Forums. (NNPCF)
We are looking for families who have a child or young person currently experiencing challenges attending school due to anxiety.

The survey link and QR code is below, there are a lot of questions but your time and engagement is very much needed and appreciated!

As part of the work around this, the NNPCF are asking for two families per forum to join a case study. If this is something you feel able to do at this point, please email me at [email protected]

Thankyou in advance for your time!

The 'Unseen Children' survey will look at the experiences of families of children and young people who are struggling with school attendance or have come off the school roll as a result of anxiety-related issues. We are aiming to understand more about how this happens, what support is needed, and the wider impacts, including on family life.

Please see the flyer for more details.

QR Code for the survey is here and on the flyer.
