🎂 Mindfulness Cake Decorating Workshop 🧁

Take some time for yourself and join us for a relaxing and creative Mindfulness Cake Decorating Workshop, exclusively for South East Cancer Help Centre members.

This enjoyable session combines creativity and mindfulness, giving you the opportunity to switch off, focus on the present moment, and decorate your own beautiful cake in a friendly and supportive environment. No previous experience is needed, and all materials will be provided.

Join us for an evening of art and inspiration at our fundraising Sip & Paint event under the expert guidance of local artist, Hue & Bristle’s, Ginny Singh.

Sip & Paint is open to all, whether you are a budding artist or just fancied having a go at painting. Ginny will guide you step by step so you will have created your own masterpiece by the end of the evening! The workshop is two hours long and covers tracing, colour mixing and blending techniques.

No prior painting experience is required.

Tickets cost £30 per person and includes all materials, tea, coffee, snacks and soft drinks; you are very welcome to bring your own w**e!

💛 Celebrating Friendship, Kindness and Community Support 💛

A huge thank you to Partou Gingerbread House Day Nursery and Pre-School for supporting the South East Cancer Help Centre and helping to raise awareness of the support available to people affected by cancer.

Through their International Friendship Day activities, the children, families and staff demonstrated the values of kindness, friendship and caring for others that are so important in building strong communities. Their support helps us continue providing vital wellbeing services, counselling, support groups and practical help to those impacted by cancer.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Partou Gingerbread House Day Nursery and Pre-School for choosing to support our charity and for making such a positive difference.

It was an absolute pleasure to visit Partou Gingerbread House Day Nursery & Pre-School and see how enthusiastically the staff and children have got behind our Paint Purley Purple awareness campaign.

The children looked amazing in their purple tie-dye T-shirts, and it was lovely to see the creative, purple-themed activities, including the purple sand tray and handmade purple painted pasta necklaces! Amethyst, the SECHC bear, is staying there for a little summer holiday and is loving all the cuddles with the children!

We are incredibly grateful to Senior Deputy Manager, Jessica Pais and the entire team at Gingerbread House for their fantastic support and commitment to raising both awareness and funds for SECHC.
