The South London Faculty offer three bursaries of £500 for South London Faculty members to attend the WONCA Europe conference each year.

The next WONCA Europe will be held on 26-29 June 2019 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

We are asking GPs to identify the clinical areas where they would like to see more research.
GPs are well aware of the current issues facing general practice, and the areas of need for more research. In 2015 this exercise resulted in over £1.5million of funding in primary care research by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) on topics identified by our members.

Free Event! Improving patient care in perinatal mental care 29 March 2018

The RCGP invites you to attend this Free half day event, looking at improving patient care in Perinatal Mental Health. Perinatal mental health problems affect up to 20% of women at some point during pregnancy and for the first year after birth, yet only around half of mothers with perinatal depression and anxiety are identified, and even fewer receive adequate treatment. This event will disseminate learning from the Wessex Strategic Network pilot study and share some key ways in which patient care in PMH can be improved.
