Perform on the Main Stage at Carshalton EcoFair

Take your place on the Main Stage at Carshalton EcoFair and be part of one of South London's most loved community events.

Set against the backdrop of the EcoFair's iconic amphitheatre, the Main Stage provides the soundtrack to the day, showcasing an eclectic mix of live music from across the local area. Whether you're a rock band, indie band, folk band, blues act, world music group, punk band, jazz ensemble, covers band or something that defies easy description, we'd love to hear what you do. The Main Stage celebrates musical diversity and the energy of live performance in all its forms.

Carshalton EcoFair is a benefit gig for local charity EcoLocal, combining live music, community spirit and environmental action in a unique day-long celebration. Everyone involved β€” performers, stage crews, organisers, stewards and volunteers β€” gives their time freely to help create something special. It's a genuinely community-powered event, built on passion, creativity and a shared commitment to making a difference.

If you're a band or live act with the energy and stage presence to connect with an outdoor audience, we'd love to hear from you.

Perform on the Performing Arts Stage at Carshalton EcoFair

Right in the heart of the event, next to the bar and surrounded by the buzz of the crowd, the Performing Arts Stage is where creativity takes centre stage.

From singer-songwriters and acoustic acts to spoken word, dance, theatre, folk, world music and the wonderfully unexpected, this is one of the most eclectic and welcoming stages at the EcoFair. If you've got something unique to share, we want to hear about it.

Carshalton EcoFair is a benefit gig for local charity EcoLocal, bringing together music, arts, community and environmental action for a fantastic day out. Everyone involved β€” from performers and stage crews to organisers and stewards β€” gives their time voluntarily to make the event happen. It's a true community effort, powered by people who want to create something special together.

As evening falls in Carshalton, join us this Friday 27th Feb 7.30pm to explore the story of a river that has shaped our community for centuries. What’s really happening to the River Wandle β€” and why should we care?

As evening falls over Carshalton and the light begins to soften, Surrey Organic Gardeners invite you to gather for a special exploration of one of our most remarkable local treasures.

🌿 Friday 27th February – 7.30pm
(Arrive from 7.15pm)
πŸ“ Garden Hall, The Lodge, Honeywood Walk, Carshalton SM5 3NX
🎟 Β£4 on the door (cash or card) – including tea, coffee and biscuits
Open to all – simply turn up.

On this particular Friday evening, our focus turns to the quiet, persistent force that flows through our landscape: the River Wandle.

In β€œWandle: River at Risk”, Bobby Dean introduces and presents his documentary exploring the river’s rich history, the challenges it now faces, and the conservation efforts working to secure its future.

For centuries, the Wandle has shaped industry, supported wildlife, and connected communities. Yet today, like so many natural habitats, it faces mounting pressures from pollution and environmental strain.

This evening offers more than a film. It is an opportunity to understand the delicate balance of a living river β€” and to discuss the measures being taken, and those still needed, to protect it. There will be time for questions, conversation, and shared reflection.

Join us on Friday 27th February.
Discover the story of a river.
And consider the role we all play in its survival. 🌊
