BARTS QUICK-FIRE 🎤

We asked our choir members to describe Haydn’s The Creation in just one word following two unforgettable performances at Cadogan Hall.

Now it’s your turn - what’s your word?

And that was the week that was 😁...

☀️Summer plus final rehearsal in air-con (such a treat) 😎
🎶Singers plus soloists and orchestra 🎹🎺🎻📯
👏🏼Solid audience turnout plus standing ovation 🥳
⚽ Football and resulting frustration 🙇🏼‍♀️
And, of course a little 🍻 for that partook in that method of post-concert-quench.

Beautiful performances of Haydn The Creation in honour of 's 30 years of leading our choir as well as a thank you to our fantastic chair, Sue Shale, who steps down from the role at our AGM next week 🥺.

Thank you ,
, Nick Pritchard,
for your wonderful work.
Thank you too to members who sold tickets and sang their socks off (not to mention our helpers, Voice Reps & Trustees!).
And thanks to the members who took these photos to share 😍.

More photos to come...

A tale of two Wednesdays... ⚽️🎶

England in a World Cup semi-final. Haydn's ‘The Creation’ at Cadogan Hall.

One promises 90 minutes of edge-of-your-seat drama. The other offers two hours of breathtaking music, glorious choruses, unforgettable solos and, unlike football, a guaranteed happy ending.

Better yet... you can avoid the fixture clash altogether by joining us on tonight!

Whichever date you choose, this is the final push for tickets to one of the choral highlights of the summer.

🎟️ Book now https://cadoganhall.com/whats-on/barts-choir-haydn-the-creation/ and join Barts Choir, Trafalgar Sinfonia and conductor Ivor Setterfield for Haydn's extraordinary celebration of the world.
