Volunteer Action for Peace YES WE CAN change the world through Peace...no we can't win Nobel Peace Prizes ;) Volunteer Action for Peace is a not-for-profit organization.

We contribute towards global peace through the creation of international and intercultural understanding and community empowerment. We do this through:
- work camps and volunteer placements that are meaningful for the community in which they take place
- encouraging intercultural exchange by bringing people from different countries, cultures and communities together
- informal education

ntly operates through a network of partner organisations in more than 80 countries worldwide, meaning that you can combine taking part in a rewarding voluntary project and an exciting cultural exchange with your travel experience of a lifetime!

We are very happy to have coordinated the placement of Heidi and Agathe who are at Othona Bradwell through the French Service Civique scheme sent by our friends of Solidarités Jeunesses

We’re delighted to welcome Heidi (middle) and Agathe (right), two France Civic Service & VAP volunteers who joined us in March and will be with us for the next 6 months❤️

They’ll be part of community life over the coming months. Come and meet them! 👋😊

Thanks to our French partners of Solidarités Jeunesses for sending Dorian and thanks to our long standing partners of Othona Bradwell for hosting him. ☮️

In February, we said goodbye to Bea, our Catering Lead (left), and Dorian, our French Civic Service volunteer (right) 💚

They have both been a wonderful part of life with us over the past 6 months, bringing kindness, hard work, and warmth to the community. It has been especially lovely to see Dorian discover a real interest and confidence in cooking during his time here 👨‍🍳✨

Thank you, Bea and Dorian, for everything you have given. We wish you both all the very best on your next journeys 🌟
