A local street Festival organised by enthusiastic residents on a volunteering basis. The Festival is about celebrating the people, talent, culture and the wonderful diversity of Forest Gate. ad is closed to traffic for the day and filled with craft stalls, food, street entertainment, drumming, dancing, hula-hooping and hundreds of people, young and old, having fun. It’s a great opportunity to meet your neighbours and enjoy a great day in Forest Gate with your friends.

FOREST GATE FESTIVAL 2026 IS DONE!

A huge thank you to every single person who came out and supported us on Saturday, we all had an amazing time and loved seeing so many happy faces.

A huge thank you to our brilliant stall holders, so much delicious food and drink on offer, so many amazingly talented creative showing off their work, and so many lovely items on sale.

To our entertainers and musicians, thank you for your performances - so many amazing moments.

And to the people that volunteered their time - whether that be to offer a calm space for children, play areas, stewards and litter pickers, and to our committee of volunteers who spend months of their time planning this - THANK YOU!

Every penny raised for the festival goes back into putting on future festivals, and every year we worry if it could be the last one we can afford to put on - if you'd like to support the festival and ensure it's future please donate via the link in bio and in the stories.

Forest Gate Festival is back for it's 26th Year, and everyone is invited!

There's live music over 2 stages, incredible street food, loads of varied independent stall holders - including antiques and vintage, ceramics, art prints, clothes, handmade toys, henna and loads more; as well as a play street for kids and a play area in Kay Rowe Nursery for under 8s. This year we're excited to welcome a new section to the festival for well-being workshops, a calm space, and a craft area.
