Get ready to explore one of London’s most striking urban spaces with fellow creatives, Apple fans, and photography enthusiasts! On Saturday, August 9th at 6PM, LMUG is heading to Coal Drops Yard in King’s Cross for an inspiring photowalk – and you’re invited!
*For our international and out of London Members, you can still take part in the photo walk and submit some of your photos to the photo competition.
YOU have to take a photos of “a place which was once Old which has been redeveloped and given a new lease of live”.
What’s Coal Drops Yard?
Once a Victorian-era hub for coal storage and transport, Coal Drops Yard has transformed into a vibrant destination blending heritage architecture with modern design. Expect a visual feast: industrial ironwork, striking lines, reflections, street art, and a buzz of cafes and independent shops. As golden hour rolls in, this area truly comes alive – making it a dream for photographers.
Bring Your iPhone!
Whether you’re shooting on an iPhone 15 Pro or an older model, this walk is all about capturing creative shots with the camera in your pocket. We’ll swap tips, explore angles, play with Night Mode, and maybe even experiment with some Live Photos and panoramas.
