In Pakistan, untreated cataracts were responsible for 77% of blindness among people aged 50+ in a recent study.

Restoring sight, one patient at a time. 👁️

Alhamdulillah, another free eye camp in Kasur, Pakistan, has helped bring essential eye care directly to people who may otherwise struggle to access or afford treatment.

At the camp, patients received:

👁️ Free eye examinations
🏥 Eye surgeries for those who needed treatment
👓 Free prescription glasses and lenses
💊 Medicines and other essential eye care

Our free eye camps help identify eye conditions early and connect patients with the treatment they need, helping protect and restore their sight.

Saif Ullah wanted something different for his son.

After spending 17 years working at a brick kiln and inheriting his father’s debt, he was determined that his child would have the opportunity to go to school.

His son completed 10 years of education and dreams of becoming a doctor. But after school, he would help his father make bricks, sometimes staying awake through the night to work.

Despite all his hard work, the debt hanging over his family threatens to pull another generation into the same cycle.

No child should have their future decided by a debt they never created.
