Kingston Giving

Kingston Giving Our vision of Kingston is for a resilient community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Inspiring local organisations run by dedicated individuals achieve extraordinary things with very limited resources. Their future depends on securing small but vital amounts of funding to reach communities in need. Love Kingston is building a Legacy Fund for the future and supporting small charities and community groups working on 'isolation to integration'. Thousands of local residents are being

left on the margins of our prosperous borough. With your help we can create a fair and good society for everyone in Kingston. The Clark Fund: small grants, real relief πŸ’›

Launched in 2024, the Clark Fund provides practical support to people and families in Kingston facing urgent everyday costs β€” from food and energy to school essentials πŸ›’βš‘πŸŽ’

With support from Kingston Council, local councillors and our community, the fund has already reached 66 people and families across the borough.

Today, we’re distributing a further Β£3,800 to 14 recipients, bringing our total to 80 grants, which have positively impacted an estimated 305 people.

Through our Participatory Grant Making approach, local people have helped decide where funding goes β€” supporting those most affected across the borough, particularly in North Kingston.

These small but powerful grants provide timely help, dignity, and a moment of relief for people facing some of the most challenging circumstances.

A huge thank you to the charities and schools who apply on behalf of those they support β€” and to everyone who has contributed so far πŸ™

It’s here… our Impact 2025 report πŸ“Šβœ¨

A year of reflection and renewal, as we stepped fully into our identity as Kingston Giving.

Behind the numbers are real moments of change. From families supported through winter, to communities coming together, to new approaches to mental health shaped by local voices.

πŸŽ‰ Meet our first Mindful Space venues
We’re excited to welcome seven Kingston businesses who are helping us test how everyday social spaces can better support mental wellbeing.

Together with young people, these venues will explore small changes that can make a big difference β€” from creating calmer corners to making spaces feel more welcoming and inclusive.

A huge thank you to:

✨ Calling all 18–25 year olds in the Royal Borough of Kingston ✨

Do you have ideas about how social spaces could better support mental wellbeing?

Mindful Space is a new, funded project exploring how everyday places - like cafΓ©s, gyms and community venues - can feel calmer, more welcoming and more inclusive. And we want young people to help shape it.

We’re looking for a small, friendly group of 18–25 year olds to share ideas, test what works, and help influence local venues.
