Following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower in London a group of volunteers working at the Tabernacle Christian Centre, together with Pastors running the Church, decided to continue the work beyond this incident. Grenfell Fire was a terrifying event and as a group we were worried it will just have a knee jerk effect after which everyone will go back to normal, forgetting about those who are hurt the m

ost. We are here to offer our hands for those in need not only now but whenever it may be required in the future. We are a very close community of people with an understanding of privacy and need for personal approach. We are here to offer the donations that we so kindly continue to receive from the generous public, to appeal for the things you may need, to put you in touch with professionals who may be able to offer some form of counselling as we understand that this is a lifelong process and to organise fundraisers for causes close to our hearts. Our intentions are to continue this fantastic work for many years to come and to get involved with charitable causes that may need our assistance in the future. Seeing our community come together was very inspiring and we are hoping to be able to work together for many years to come.
