🎵🎤💙 HUGE congratulations and appreciation to the team at The George pub in Woodhouse, Sheffield for their amazing event, GeorgeFest 2026! Together Angelique & Chris, along with all their customers raised an amazing £2,722 for Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of Thomas Flack. Tom was supported by our Teenage Cancer Trust team in Sheffield before he sadly died, but the impact he left with both our frontline team and the community around him was huge.

Thomas' friends, family and local community have been fundraising with Thomas and in his memory for over 10 years, recently they all came together to enjoy and fundraise across the whole weekend celebrating George Fest 2026, contributing to the overall funds of well over £50,000 that has been raised for different charities in Thomas' name.

Sending a huge thank you to Angelique & Chris and their team at The George for the outstanding amount of love, effort and energy into setting up George Fest and putting on such a fantastic event.

Thank you also to Glynn & Hazel, Thomas' parents, for your commitment to supporting Teenage Cancer Trust and for keeping Tom's memory and name alive by supporting us. It was an honour to be part of the weekend of music, love and laughter. We appreciate your continuing support, you are doing Thomas proud. 💙

In just over a week David Shields is taking on the challenge of a lifetime, he is aiming to complete the Pyrenees Endurance Cycle Challenge - climbing 15 Cols (mountains) and over 50,000ft of climbing over 8 days.

David's challenge is in memory of his friend and colleague Lindsay, who sadly died of cancer in May this year. Throughout her treatment schedule Lindsay was determined to keep positive and have hope, finding the balance between managing her treatment, work at Value Match and her personal life in the North East.

David said: "We discussed for the first time what legacy Lindsay wanted to leave within Value Match which would be something that reflected our shared values, her impact and the work we undertook."

"Lindsay has 2 children just entering their teenage years, a major part of our work together is for and within schools and the clear link to cancer and cancer treatment. Looking at the brilliant support Teenage Cancer Trust provide across the UK, it was a perfect fit for what we wanted to do."

Friends, family and colleagues at Value Match have raised over a phenomenal £22,000 so far in memory of Lindsay.

If you'd like to donate or read more about Lindsay please take a look at the JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/page/david-shields-

In June, a group walked from Castle Hill Hospital to Grimsby Police Station in honour of their friend and colleague, Kai, who had sadly died of leukaemia just days earlier. Kai was a police officer at Grimsby Police Station and received treatment and support on our Teenage Cancer Trust unit at Castle Hill. The 29 mile walk was not only to raise money, but it was also to celebrate his life; his courage, strength and positivity.

Craig and Cauren, who organised the walk, visited Castle Hill to present the cheque to Charlene, our Youth Support Coordinator, who worked with Kai and helped him in his final months of treatment.

Charlene says “They spoke about their motivation for taking on the challenge, the support they received along the way, and the importance of keeping Kai's memory alive through raising awareness and funds for young people affected by cancer. The visit was an emotional and inspiring opportunity for staff to hear first hand about Kai's impact on those around him.”

Kai's family, friends and colleagues raised a staggering £11,090 for Teenage Cancer Trust, and through doing this they kept Kai's name and memories alive as they walked him back to the station for the last time.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, supported and shared memories of Kai along the way. 💙

We'd like to introduce you to David, he wanted to combine his love of darts with a fundraiser for Teenage Cancer Trust so has set himself up a challenge of completing a Darts Marathon 🎯💙

In August 2025, David's 17 year old daughter Aimee was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma, she was supported by our Teenage Cancer Trust team in Sheffield. David said "Through Aimee's treatment, all the medical professionals have been great, but Robyn from Teenage Cancer Trust has been amazing whenever Aimee needed anything and even after treatment continues to check up on her."

Aimee is thankfully in remission and doing really well, David tells us she was a trooper throughout her diagnosis and treatment, he's incredibly proud of her. If you'd like to support David's darts marathon please follow the link to donate: https://www.justgiving.com/page/davidhewittdartsmarathon

The event will be held at The Darts Club, Wombwell on 18th September 2026, please feel free to join if you'd like to get involved and throw some darts too.

Teenage Cancer Trust relies on donations to fund the units and frontline staff who support every young person and their family going through cancer. 💙

🩵❤️A massive thank you to Lottie, Curd, Antonia, Olly and Campbell for their amazing support of Teenage Cancer Trust ❤️🩵

This year, they've thrown themselves into fundraising, organising a range of events and even taking on the challenge of Tough Mudder – all to support young people with cancer.

Their fundraising is particularly close to home, with a friend currently receiving support from Teenage Cancer Trust, making every mile, muddy obstacle and fundraising effort even more meaningful.

One of our Relationship Managers was delighted to join them at Longridge Towers School for a cheque presentation and see first-hand the incredible impact of their hard work.

Thank you, Lottie and friends, for your time, energy and commitment. We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done to support young people facing cancer. 👏🫶

We're reaching out to our East Yorkshire community today. Kai's wonderful friends and colleagues will be coming together today to walk the 29 miles from Castle Hill Hospital, Hull where Kai was supported by Teenage Cancer Trust, to Victoria Street, Grimsby.

Very sadly, Kai died just a few days ago so this walk has become even more important to his community, they are walking in honour of Kai today. If you see Kai's family and friends walking today please share your support and love, cheer and shout. We want them to all know we're with them, and Kai.

"We wanted the date of the walk to be as close to the date in which he got to come home from Castle Hill Hospital.
On Monday 9th June 2025, Kai was discharged to rest at home. He left Castle Hill Hospital and finally got to go home to be with his family and partner, prior to his son being born. Back to “sunny clee” in Kai’s words."

"All donations, no matter how small, are hugely appreciated.
All are welcome to join the walk.
We are walking for Kai, for his family, and for everyone affected by cancer.
You will be with us every step of the way, Kai."

You can get involved by donating or reading more about Kai's story on the link here:

💫 Calling all pilates lovers ✨

Here’s an event you don’t want to miss in Yorkshire. Book a pilates class (or book a few if you’re adventurous) and support this wonderful event raising vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.

We’re super proud of Sophie celebrating 10 years cancer free, and aiming to raise as much money as possible as part of her celebration! 💖

Thank you to Kaha Studios for your wonderful support!

🎗️ REFORM & RAISE | The Reformer-THON - In aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. £20 a class.

Join us for a very special full day event — 10 reformer classes across 10 hours, back to back, open to all levels. Whether you book one class or challenge yourself to more, every session counts. Classes include a mix of open level pilates, sweat and strength sessions, both reformer and mat fusion formats with extra challenges waiting at the end for those who dare to go the distance.

Bring a friend, bring your energy, and bring your sponsors!

We challenge you to book more than one class and get sponsored by family and friends. We also warmly welcome corporate and individual sponsors, every penny makes a difference.

This event is deeply personal to us. Our client (and Liv’s sister-in-law) Sophie spent time on a teenage cancer ward 11 years ago. This July, we are celebrating 10 years all clear, and we could not think of a better way to mark this incredible milestone than by raising money for the charity that supports so many young people and their families through the hardest of times.

100% of profits go directly to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Come and sweat, celebrate, and give back. We would love to see you there. 💛

📌 Book your class(es) via the app. The more the merrier!

PippaFest 2026 was a magical day of music, community, love and support for Pippa and her family. We are so grateful and proud of everything that Pippa's family have done to fulfil her wish for PippaFest, and in doing so this year the festival raised over £19,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Thank you to the organisers, volunteers, performers, stall holders and ticket holders - you all played a part in raising money and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust and for keeping Pippa's name and legacy alive💙
