We're reaching out to our East Yorkshire community today. Kai's wonderful friends and colleagues will be coming together today to walk the 29 miles from Castle Hill Hospital, Hull where Kai was supported by Teenage Cancer Trust, to Victoria Street, Grimsby.

Very sadly, Kai died just a few days ago so this walk has become even more important to his community, they are walking in honour of Kai today. If you see Kai's family and friends walking today please share your support and love, cheer and shout. We want them to all know we're with them, and Kai.

"We wanted the date of the walk to be as close to the date in which he got to come home from Castle Hill Hospital.
On Monday 9th June 2025, Kai was discharged to rest at home. He left Castle Hill Hospital and finally got to go home to be with his family and partner, prior to his son being born. Back to “sunny clee” in Kai’s words."

💙 Sending out a huge congratulations and thank you to Adam who put on an incredible event at Westerhope Social Club in Newcastle on 16th May 2026. PippaFest 2026 was a magical day of music, community, love and support for Pippa and her family. We are so grateful and proud of everything that Pippa's family have done to fulfil her wish for PippaFest, and in doing so this year the festival raised over £19,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Thank you to the organisers, volunteers, performers, stall holders and ticket holders - you all played a part in raising money and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust and for keeping Pippa's name and legacy alive💙

The incredible Andertons Music Co. are raffling off a Tobias Bass Guitar that's been customised by Danny Sapko! They sent Danny the Tobais Killer B V 5-String Bass Guitar, which he then customised with his signature, before returning it to Andertons for a 4-String version. Rather than letting the bass gather dust, Andertons have kindly decided to raffle it off to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust!

PippaFest is back again for 2026, and this time it's even bigger with even more music. Last year it was a sell out event, with a brilliant atmosphere, and raised over £20,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust!

PippaFest is an all day music festival for all ages on Sunday 3rd May 2026, in the grounds of Ghyll Royd School, only 20 minutes from Leeds in Burley in Wharfedale. There are plenty of family fun games and activities, plus opportunities to win great prizes and listen to fantastic artists.

Last year was a sell out event, with a brilliant atmosphere and raised an incredible amount of money for Teenage Cancer Trust

The event is in memory of the wonderfully talented Pippa Simpson, who sadly died from cancer in 2024 at the age of 25. Let us introduce you to these wonderful women, raising funds and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust through a huge Charity Challenge coming up next month! So far they have fundraised an incredible £1,500. We're with you every step of the way, Mums on the Run, thank you for supporting Teenage Cancer Trust!

"We're a team of mums (always on the run!) — and that’s exactly how our team name was born! 🏃‍♀️💨 We completed the challenge back in 2024 and we're the first all female team.

On 16th May, we’ll be taking on the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge in Edale, Derbyshire. It’s a tough combo of mountain biking, hiking, kayaking and orienteering… and with all those Derbyshire hills, it’s going to be a real test of grit and teamwork! 🚵‍♀️🥾🛶

We’re raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity chosen by our colleague after witnessing first hand the incredible support they provide to young people facing cancer. 💙

Last week our Yorkshire units were egg-stra lucky to receive a wonderful gift from the Lovell team - a huge donation of Easter goodies! 🍫

When some young people confessed they'd never done an Easter egg hunt before, Jemma, Youth Support Coordinator in Sheffield, took the opportunity to make dreams come true. Thanks to the gifts from Lovell, she hid Easter eggs all over Weston Park and created a brilliant Easter egg hunt🌳

Then, we hopped over to Leeds to deliver the rest of the goodies for the young people we support over there. Sharing them with the frontline team who have been spreading Easter cheer to young people both on and off the unit.
