At Shirley Community Library On Tuesday 7th April Start time: 2pm Mick Taylor from the Wandle Industrial Museum will talk about “The River Wandle and its Industries.” The industries of the Wandle include textile, s***f milling, calico printing, leather tanning, flour milling, and brewing.

If you would like to attend please reserve your space by emailing Dawn Gibbons at [email protected]. Please note an entrance fee of £4 per person to help fund our running costs. For further information on the River Wandle Industrial Museum: https://www.wandle.org/
