Teach A Man To Fish

Teach A Man To Fish We empower young people globally with the skills they need to succeed in school, work, and life.

Working with schools around the world, we equip teachers to help young people gain business and life skills through our practical School-Business Model. Globally there are more than 64 million young people unemployed (International Labour Organisation 2018). We believe that practical entrepreneurship education is key to tackling youth unemployment and poverty worldwide, and we know this turns job seekers into job
creators.

"I found a family that pushes me to reach higher, dream bigger and walk boldly towards my goals".

Owami is Head Girl at Ullovu Secondary School in South Africa. She took part in our Enterprise Challenge, working with her peers to run a school tuck shop as a business.

"I have learned that success is not handed to us, it is earned through discipline, accountability and courage to take risks. In moments of failure, we grow stronger, wiser and better prepared for future challenges. This business has taught me that teamwork creates unity, innovation drives progress and resilience is the true key to
sustainable success. Most importantly, I have discovered the power of believing in myself"

Owami has found that our entrepreneurship education opens pathways for the future!

What a day for young entrepreneurs in Gurugram, India! πŸš€
We’ve just wrapped up another incredible School Enterprise Challenge Elite Showcase Event at K-IIT World School, Gurugram, bringing together 250 students, teachers, school leaders, and parents for a high-energy celebration of enterprise in action.

From the moment the doors opened, the campus was buzzing. The Enterprise Marketplace was alive with confident student sellers showcasing their school businesses, sharpening real-world sales skills, and learning what it really takes to attract customers and stand out.

The excitement peaked at our Shark Tank-style pitch competition and this time, the stakes were higher than ever! Students had already fought their way through multiple knock-out rounds to earn a place in the live final, making every pitch on stage hard-won and fiercely competitive. The finalists impressed our Sharks with bold ideas, clear thinking, and huge amounts of courage.

One student summed it up perfectly:

β€œThis experience taught me communication skills, confidence, and how to deal with real-life situations. It was a bit scary at first, but also fun and exciting. It made me feel proud of myself.”

πŸ† Huge congratulations to our winners:
