The JOED Foundation The JOED Foundation helps those who have escaped from their restrictive circumstances, and more importantly we support those who have not.

JOED is a London based charity, founded in recognition of those who have escaped from their restrictive circumstances, but more importantly to support those who have not. The object of our charity is solely for public benefit. We support advancement of health of those in local communities who have a need, because of age - young or old; ill health or disability; financial hardship or other disadvan

tages. Working on our own or with other organisations, JOED is involved in the following projects - helping local communities in the UK and abroad. PROJECTS IN THE UK:

- ACTIVITY STATION - creating programmes of respite and fun activities for people and their carers.

- MEN IN SHEDS - providing elderly males with a place to engage in new or existing interests whilst interacting with others - improving their overall physical and mental health.

- CMV ACTION - raising awareness and alerting mothers-to-be of the potential dangers of the CMV virus whih can cause miscarriages to mothers and disabilities to new born babies.

- THE CINNAMON TRUST - looking after the pets of the elderly and terminally ill people. Using animals to bring happiness and laughter and reduce anxiety or lift depression in others of all ages. PROJECTS ABROAD:

- NORTHCLIFF HOUSE COLLEGE - a special needs school in South Africa which helps and educates pupils aged 4-18 years old who have a range of medical and behavioural difficulties.

- ASSEE - helping families and individuals in Botswana to improve their lives through empowerment.
