**Volunteer Opportunity: Group Trustee Lead – Help Shape the Future of Our Scouts!**
Do you enjoy making things run smoothly behind the scenes? Want to play a key role in helping young people gain skills for life—without having to camp in the rain (unless you want to!)?
We’re on the lookout for a **Group Trustee Lead Volunteer** to join our Scout Group and bring energy, ideas, and a bit of organisational magic to our team.
This is a brilliant opportunity to:
* Be part of something meaningful in your local community
* Help guide the direction and sustainability of the group
* Work alongside a friendly, supportive team of volunteers
* Use (or build!) skills in leadership, governance, and planning
**What does the role involve?**
You’ll lead our Trustee Board, helping ensure the group is well-run, financially sound, and set up for the future. That might include coordinating meetings, supporting big decisions, and making sure we’re meeting our responsibilities—but don’t worry, you won’t be doing it alone.
**Who are we looking for?**
Someone who is:
* Organised and a good communicator
* Happy to bring ideas and ask questions
* Supportive and team-focused
* Passionate about giving young people great opportunities
No previous Scouting experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. Full support and training will be provided.
