I’m passionate about people — especially the incredible individuals and extraordinary volunteers who give their time, energy and heart to support charities and communities.

I believe that the smallest organisations can make the biggest difference, and that the people behind them deserve recognition.

My passion is to give small charities and communities a stronger voice, share their stories and celebrate the remarkable people who make positive change happen every day.

Everyone deserves to be seen, heard and valued — and I’m proud to help make that happen.

Andrea Malam BEM FRSA is an award winning published author and anthologist passionate about empowering diverse voices and creating greater understanding through storytelling.

Author of Anglo Indians Abroad and Bias Breakers and co-author to other books , Andrea explores identity, culture, diversity, representation, and the lived experiences that shape us.

Her work encourages people to share their stories, challenge assumptions, break down barriers, and recognise the power of authentic voices to connect communities and inspire meaningful change.

Here is one version of me that is more aligned to my purpose and values.

I am the Founder and Trustee of Saving Dreams, a charity dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and families through education, practical assistance, and opportunities that help them build brighter and more secure futures. Through our work, we aim to empower individuals, strengthen families, and make a lasting difference in the communities we serve.
