The Ruach Chavurah

The Ruach Chavurah Every member of our community contributes spiritually and practically.

We are a small Jewish Renewal Community based in North London who come together for lively, holistic and spiritual davenning (prayer) on a shabbat morning once a month, chagim (festival) celebrations, monthly Friday night gatherings, study and retreat. Our services are self led and small groups work together to create a special and exciting experience for our community. Others may chair our busine

ss meetings where we try to make decisions by consensus, or provide a beautiful centrepiece or other decoration for our space. We nurture spiritual growth as individuals and as a community by evolving Jewish practices that are relevant to our lives. Our Jewish path is rooted in our ancient tradition, informed by an awareness of ecology, egalitarian principles and peace work, and responsive to the transformations of the late 20th century and the present.
