However, we also aspire to raise their self-esteem and to promote their emotional well-being by providing monthly group sessions. “The idea for ‘We-STAP’(We Supply Toiletries and Products to women in need) was created many years ago, when I worked as a health visitor in Croydon. I visited a client who lived with her partner & was experiencing domestic abuse. Her partner didn't buy her anything and

wouldn't give her any money either. She started crying & told me that she had to use toilet paper. I was very shocked by this and decided to raise funds to purchase sanitary products for her.”

At We-STAP our primary aim is to provide toiletries & products to women in need in Croydon. However, we also aspire to raise their self-esteem and to promote their emotional well-being. Items we distribute include sanitary towels, tampons, shower gels, toothpastes, toothbrushes & deodorants; which are kindly donated by our supporters. There are a many groups who cater specifically for homeless women or women experiencing domestic abuse. We aim to also cater for other groups of women e.g. women who have no recourse to public funds, women facing financial hardships etc. Please send all donations to:

Are cups okay for all ages? Yes! Of course it’s important to get the right size and shape for your body (as with any age). Cups are safe and a great choice for anyone - plus the length of wear for those in school is a total game changer and possible lifesaver 🙌 As with any product, it’s a learning experience and support helps. If you don’t have an in-person support our Facebook group is a great, safe space to ask questions and get answers from people who’ve been there.

Did you know 1 in 10 girls & young women in the UK aged 14-21 experience financial difficulties purchasing menstrual products each month? There are a many groups who cater specifically for homeless women or women experiencing domestic abuse. We cater for women e.g who have no recourse to public funds & women facing financial hardships. Women have to be referred to us, as we do not have the capacity to complete assessment. Referrals are accepted from various sources e.g. local groups, health professionals, HomeStart etc. We need your support! Can you sew? Would you like to be an Ambassador (collect items), a sponsor (expertise, finances), a member or a volunteer? Contact us now!
