👂🦁 300+ Hearing Aids Collected!

Waltham Forest Lions Club - CIO is delighted to have collected more than 300 hearing aids from Ms. Sandhya Surendran, Senior Audiologist at Whipps Cross University Hospital.

The hearing aids will be sent to Lions Clubs District 105A for recycling and refurbishment, helping restore hearing and improve lives. 💙💛

These glasses will be sorted and recycled through the Lions vision programme, helping people in need to see more clearly and improve their quality of life. 🌍❤️

🦁 DG Official Visit, Induction & Remembrance 🕊️

Waltham Forest Lions Club CIO was honoured to welcome District Governor (DG) Lion Dilip Shah for his Official Visit and the Induction of our Club Officers.

We are pleased to announce the induction of:
🦁 Lion Moufazzal Bhuiyan as President
🦁 Lion Humayun Akram as Secretary
🦁 Lion Mohammed as Treasurer

We were also delighted to welcome Cllr Afzal Akram FRSA as our Special Guest on this memorable occasion.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community service, the Club proudly handed over 129 pairs of eyeglasses for the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Programme and 283 hearing aids to DG Lion Dilip Shah, supporting recycling initiatives and helping people in need.

Together, we continue to serve our community with compassion, dedication and the spirit of Lions.
