3rd Paddington Scouts We offer fun, challenge and everyday adventure to girls and boys aged 8-18 across Paddington. Join in and have fun. Scouting spread very quickly worldwide.

Robert Baden-Powell, himself born in Paddington, was a Colonel in the British Army. Inspired by the imagination, spirit and courage of 40 young cadets defending Mafikeng in 1899 during the 2nd Boer War, he held the first scout camp in August 1907 in Poole Harbour with 11 boys from Eaton and Harrow and 10 from Boys' Brigades on the South Coast.
