As my full term as Chair of the Asian Sports Foundation comes to an end, we are now seeking the next Chair of Trustees to lead the organisation into its next chapter.

It has been a tremendous privilege to serve in this role and to work alongside such dedicated trustees, staff, volunteers, partners and supporters. Together, we have remained committed to using sport as a force for inclusion, empowerment and community development, creating opportunities for individuals and communities who are often underrepresented.

Looking back, I am immensely proud of what the Foundation has achieved and the impact it continues to make. What has always inspired me most is the passion of the people involved and the shared belief that sport has the power to bring people together, improve wellbeing and create lasting positive change.

As I complete my term, I do so with great confidence in the future of the Foundation. The organisation is well-positioned for continued growth and impact, and this presents an exciting opportunity for a new Chair to build on the strong foundations that have been established and help shape the next phase of its journey.

If you are an experienced leader with a passion for good governance, community impact and the transformative power of sport, I would encourage you to consider this opportunity or share it within your networks.

A productive and energising day with the Board of Trustees at the Asian Sports Foundation.

Great to come together for today’s meeting, followed by a focused strategy session where we explored our priorities, ambitions, and the opportunities ahead. These moments are invaluable in ensuring we continue to grow our impact and deliver meaningful outcomes for the communities we serve.

We were also delighted to welcome a number of new trustees to the Board. Their insight, experience, and fresh perspectives will be a real asset as we move forward.

At Asian Sports Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering women through sports and initiatives in with delivery partners across the country. Our Cycling project transformed lives by helping women develop essential cycling skills and boosting their . As well as confidence on the bikes this project enabled developing friendships and cultivating a vibrant community of empowered women.

As a female-led team, we believe in the power of collaboration and generosity, perfectly aligned with this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain.” When we invest in empowering women, we unlock potential that benefits entire communities.
