Exploring the profound teachings of the 12th-century mystic Ibn Arabi can be a daunting task. This event aims to make his core ideas, particularly the concept of the “Oneness of Being” (Wahdat al-Wujūd), accessible without sacrificing their depth.
Join Mohammed, a software developer with two decades of study in Islamic circles and Arabic, for a unique two-hour session. He will guide you through Ibn Arabi’s life and philosophy using a clear, audio-visual presentation. To illustrate these complex ideas, the talk will employ creative analogies, including some drawn from popular narratives like Star Wars.
This is designed for the curious seeker, not just the academic. The goal is clarity and thoughtful discussion.
