"I just want to walk again."

Before the war, Doaa was a child with dreams, a loving family, and a normal life.

Everything changed when her home was bombed. She lost her father and suffered severe injuries that led to more than ten surgeries.

Today, Doaa continues treatment in Egypt. Despite the pain, loss, and long road to recovery, she has not lost hope.

She dreams of walking again.

She dreams of running again.

She dreams of being a child again.

This is Doaa's story.

59 Years Since the Naksa

This June marks 59 years since the Naksa ("The Setback"), the events of June 1967 that led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians during the Six-Day War.

For many Palestinians, the Naksa remains a significant moment in modern history, marking a period of displacement, loss, and profound change that affected generations of families.

Today, we remember those who experienced these events and reflect on their lasting impact on Palestinian communities.
