Metro Sunday School began in the 1980's when Bill Wilson realised that it was too dangerous for hundreds of kids to come to Sunday School because of the territorial ganglines and gang warfare that constantly erupted on the streets of Bushwick in Brooklyn. He had to take Sunday

School to the kids themselves - and so the first Kidz Klub Sunday School was born. Two decades of commitment and dedication later, Metro has over 92 buses and 16 sidewalk trucks with 150 Sidewalk Sites that reach out to over 22,000+ kids every week. Not only that, every kid that comes to Sidewalk is visited every week by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Today Kidz Klub Sunday School is pioneered in South Africa, Romania, Ukraine, Phillappines, India and across the United States. Abandoned As A Child
As a child, Pastor Bill experienced the pain and hopelessness of abandonment. One day, as he walked down a street with his mother, they stopped to sit for a while. She instructed him to sit there and wait for her to return. He sat and waited for three days straight. She never returned. A Christian gentleman who had seen Bill stranded and alone stopped and picked him up. It was here that Bill's relationship with God began. Kidz klub UK started in Liverpool - www.kidzklub.biz and there are branches in Leeds,Brighton, Reading, Debden and all over the country. Meet the team....
Nick Gibbs heads up Kidz klub Chingford. Nick has been married for 16 years and has 3 children, a dog ,a cat 2 birds and 2 goldfish. He lives in Chingford and is a Letting and management agent. He has been part of IG9WOT yufe club! Also child protection coordinator. Charlotte Spelman is a 22 year old physiotherapist who likes to sing and bake cakes! She is bus captain and co-ordinates weekly visits to drop off colouring sheets at children's homes. Margaret is married to John with 2 children and 2 Grandchildren. Likes porridge(with salt!)... and Botswana(no connection). Selina is married with 2 children, lives in Enfield and works in education. Deputy child protection coordinator. Collette is married with 3 children lives in Chingford and is a harrassed housemum! Dave & Maddy - married for 37 years.3 children - 2 boys and 1 girl. 5 grandchildren, a fishpond and a pink campervan! "Weve been described as Bohemian - we think we are normal! Our desire - to give everyone the opportunity to be introduced to Jesus(see 2 Cor 5 v 18)

Gemma lives in Chingford and is a former youth worker

Dave has been married for 43 years, lived in Chingford 40 years, and works in helping people, is an artist, has 2 x 6 foot 6 inch sons - and describes himself as "Easily led!"

Pat has done loads of childrens work and been a teaching assistant locally and has 1 cat and 1 chiwawee dog! Marti is Kidz Klub treasurer. The leadership of Kidz klub is accountable to of a number of local ministers:
