Volunteer in the World

Volunteer in the World Volunteer in the world helps to create an effective network between volunteers and volunteer organizations. Interns have to apply and send their CV.

Volunteer in the world is different from the majority of other volunteer organizations. We don’t have to recoup staff and salary costs for administration. This means that volunteers can get advice on the best volunteer projects and contact directly trusted organizations that we suggest from our experience. We really want to help the countries and the people that need it the most. There is no middl

e man and the cost is thus very reasonable to volunteers.
4 Reasons to Volunteer with us:
Make a Difference
Meet Good People
Feel Better
Learn Something New

Volunteer in the world proposes primarily five categories: (a) short, medium and long-term volunteer projects, self-funded positions; (b) medium and long-term volunteer projects, paid positions (c) school trips and short volunteer project to improve English, self-funded positions; (d) NGO internships; (e) professional paid positions in some NGO’s. These different options for volunteering in the world in other countries are explored in detail below. Short, medium and long-term volunteer projects, self-funded positions: It is up to you to decide the length of your experience: from one week on, you can choose how long your volunteer project will be. This scheme may suit many people, including students taking a year off, professionals taking sabbaticals to work on a specific project, individuals of all ages wishing to gain further “hands-on” practical field experience whilst volunteering overseas. Usually, volunteers must pay for their transportation to and from the project, and a program fee payment which covers food, accommodation and project costs. Medium and long-term volunteer projects, paid positions: These Volunteer in the world projects can last from anything between 2 months to 12 months. These volunteer projects are suitable for people from 18 to 30 years old, but you have to apply and send your CV. Usually, volunteers receive money for their transportation to and from the project and pocket money. Food, accommodation, visa and insurance are paid by the host organization. School trips and short volunteer project to improve English, self-funded positions: These Volunteer in the world projects can last from anything between a week to up to you. These projects are suitable both for individuals as well as for school groups. Usually, people must pay for their transportation to and from the project, and a program fee payment which covers food, accommodation, project costs and administration. NGO internships: These Volunteer in the world internships can last from one month up to one year. This internship scheme will not only provide students and other people with valuable work experience (while strengthening their CV), but also provides the chance to acquire first-hand knowledge of the working environment related to their interests. In some cases, interns will have to pay for their transportation to and from the project, and for abroad placements, a program fee payment which covers food, accommodation and project costs. Professional paid positions in some NGO: In this category, people choose to work overseas in different countries on long-term projects lasting for over a year. For these positions, people with qualifications and/or specific skills and experience are most likely to be recruited. Successful candidates may receive benefits including a monthly allowance based on the local rate, fly tickets, insurance, lodging etc.

Some experiences stay with you long after the journey ends!

For the past 3 weeks, our Volunteer Julia Eva has been living an unforgettable volunteering experience, discovering a new culture, connecting with local people, stepping outside her comfort zone, and making a real difference, all thanks to our incredible local partner Volunteers Action Foundation Nepal

Three weeks of learning, sharing, giving and receiving. 3 weeks of meaningful connections, new perspectives and moments that will become beautiful memories.

Volunteering is not just about helping others. It’s about growing, listening, understanding and allowing yourself to be changed by the people and places you meet along the way.

Julia Eva’s journey is a nice reminder that sometimes, the best way to discover the world is to become part of it!
THANKS!!!

What do 33 young people aged 13 to 18 do during 8 days in Valencia with us?

15 of them chose to spend every morning volunteering at a summer camp with Asociación Cadir and a charity shop with Juntos por la Vida.
Their afternoons and the weekend were filled with social and cultural activities, giving them the chance to discover the local community and connect with people.

The other 18 attended a 20-hour intensive Spanish course organised by our partner Euroace
In the afternoons, they alternated cultural activities with interactive workshops and meetings alongside our local partner organisations.

An intense week full of learning, new friendships, personal growth, and unforgettable experiences...
They were an incredible group, and we couldn't be prouder of everything they achieved together.
THANK YOU all for your enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to make the most of this experience!!!

Since then, every summer he has chosen to dedicate his time to serving those in need.

THANK YOU, Giorgio, for your commitment, your generosity and for showing, through your actions, the true meaning of volunteering. We are proud to have you as part of our Volunteers.

Volontariato internazionale: QUANDO IL VIAGGIO DIVENTA ESPERIENZA DI CRESCITA

What makes our summer group experiences so special?
It's the people!

Every group is made up of young people who share the same dreams: to travel, make genuine friendships, step outside their comfort zones, discover new cultures, explore new countries, and give back through volunteering ...

When people with the same values come together, something truly magical happens.
Strangers become friends, unforgettable memories are created, and what starts as a trip becomes a life-changing experience.

From July 4–12, we had the privilege of sharing this incredible journey in Athens with our amazing team of volunteers at the summer camp for migrants and refugees with our partner Love & Serve Without Boundaries

To each and every one of you:
THANK YOU for your kindness, your energy, your dedication, and for making this experience so meaningful!!!

What do 14 teenagers, aged 15 to 18, do during a week in Dublin?

They step out of their comfort zones, live with local host families, get to know one another, improve their English, learn about sustainability and recycling, and, most importantly, become FRIENDS... a family.
In just 8 days, they built friendships, shared unforgettable moments, and created genuine connections.
We truly hope these bonds will last long after they return to their everyday lives.

Thank you, Guys … You were absolutely AMAZING!!!

When the for-profit world chooses to support the nonprofit world, something truly special happens.
It reminds us that the world is full of kind-hearted people willing to give their time, energy, and resources to create opportunities for those who need them most.

This is exactly why we do what we do:
Connecting people who want to make a difference with small local organizations that need support, helping hands, and funding!

Seeing former volunteers grow, create their own charity, bring together 14 fellow travelers, raise funds for our local partner and the monastery, and choose to spend part of their holiday volunteering with children at local schools, the children’s home, and the monastery... this is the greatest reward we could ask for!

To all 14 of you, thank you for choosing to travel with purpose.
Have an unforgettable experience in Nepal!

And thank you for taking the time to meet our local partner Volunteers Action Foundation Nepal, Rajan, whose dedication, together with the warmth of the local community, makes Nepal such an extraordinary place.

This is how change grows: one connection, one act of kindness, one journey at a time …

From June 22nd to 29th, a group of 14 young students took part in a sustainability and recycling project organized in collaboration with our partner Atlas Language School

Among the many inspiring activities, they spent a wonderful morning at the Rediscovery Centre , a truly magical place where discarded materials are given a new life in creative and unexpected ways.

The experience reminded us of a simple but powerful message: nothing should go to waste!
Every object has the potential for a new beginning when we choose to see its value!
