We’re back!

The boys were back in competitive action for the first time in over a year and what a way to start.

We faced league leaders FC Esprit in our first league match and it was a comfortable outing as the boys put 5 past the opposition, with a hattrick from new signing Kyle Roberts.

Matchday!

Champion vs Champion. It was the Summer League winners vs the League Cup winners. The Sporting Foundation Summer League kicked off with a mouth watering game between two of the favourites, Aberfeldy and BBBFC. In an 8 goal thriller it was Bromley who took the spoils as they won in a penalty shootout with heroics from their number 1.

Matchday!

The boys prepared themselves for their 4th consecutive CFL Cup final and it was like de ja vu as they were facing Shadwell FC for the second year in a row. After an awful league campaign the boys were looking to end their season with some silverware. The boys ran into a 2 goal lead against league winners Shadwell, however in the last 10 minutes, momentum shifted and Shadwell found themselves back into the game. The game went to penalties and it was Shadwell who were triumphant. A bitter blow to the boys after a brilliant cup run.

Matchday!

The quarter finals of the challenge cup went underway and the tie of the round was FC Elite against Aberfeldy FC. In a thriller of a match, the boys levelled the game after going 2-0 down, and then equalised in the dying minutes of the game. Unfortunately for the boys they couldn’t take that luck into the shootout as they lost against a talented FC Elite team.
