Earthly Measures - Down, Sun EP 🌞
After a long, sun-drenched few months, September brings an air of transition. Our next 4-track in-house crafted EP, aptly named Down, Sun, sits comfortably between those hazy sunlit fields and the coziness of home-listening, where the remnants of summer almost have that touch of nostalgia already.
Returning with our second EP, Down, Sun, blends acid-driven grooves with organic instrumentation. Featuring a collaboration with Playroots on “Keep The Light,” the EP brings live handpan, percussion and keys into a club-focused context. A homage to the sun, nature and all beauty surrounding it.
More than anything, this EP reflects what Earthly Measures has always meant: finding connection through music, wherever it comes from. It has always been about finding common ground between different musical worlds. The label has spent years bringing together artists from across the globe, and making this project has become another way of exploring that same idea, with a much more personal edge.
