🥾 Last week, the Veterinary Voices UK (closed discussion group) took on a three day hike through the Cotswolds in support of Vetlife as part of !

Across the three days, 28 people from across the veterinary community came together to walk around 17km each day, taking on the challenge while raising vital funds for Vetlife.

The hike was made possible thanks to the incredible support of the walkers themselves, who joined from across the community and generously fundraised for Vetlife.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to the organisations that supported the challenge, including Linnaeus, Vetnique and Duggan Veterinary.

Thank you to everyone who took part, fundraised, donated and supported the hike. 💚

New resource for veterinary leaders and managers.💚

Vetlife's new guidance is written for veterinary workplaces, and for the people who run them.
It's a practical, realistic guide to workplace su***de prevention in veterinary contexts, and the session looks at how veterinary workplaces can implement it.
Launching Wednesday 4th November at 7:30pm. Free 90 minute webinar session, highlighting key features of the guide as well as giving the opportunity for questions.

On Wednesday 4th November, Vetlife launches new guidance for veterinary leaders and managers on su***de prevention in veterinary workplaces.
The free webinar session will highlight key aspects of the guide and looks at some of the big questions Vetlife hears from veterinary workplaces about su***de prevention.
There will be time for questions during the session, and questions can be submitted anonymously via the Zoom Q&A function.

Who wrote the new Vetlife resource? 💚

Vetlife's new guidance for veterinary leaders and managers has been written and reviewed by people with knowledge and experience of veterinary professional work. By veterinary professionals with lived experience of suicidal thoughts and behaviour. By people with lived experience of su***de loss of a veterinary professional. And by su***de prevention experts.
It launches on Wednesday 4th November at 7:30pm on a free, 90 minute duration webinar. This webinar session highlights key features of the guide, as well as giving opportunities for questions, which can be asked anonymously.
The panel of guests include: Dr. Rosie Allister, James Glass, James Russell and Hannah Sampson.

💚 A huge thank you to Vet Dynamics!

We’re incredibly grateful to share that the raffle and auction at this year’s Vet Dynamics Conference raised an amazing £22,370 for Vetlife!

Since Vet Dynamics began fundraising for Vetlife in 2013, they have raised an incredible £173,515 in total. 🎉

The cost of running Vetlife has grown significantly over the past four years, from around £500,000 a year to £1.3 million today. Fundraising support like this is vital in helping us continue to provide our services to the veterinary community.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Vet Dynamics team, everyone who has supported their fundraising, and all those who have generously donated prizes over the years. Your support makes a real difference to those who rely on our help.
