Lekdanling - Tibetan Cultural Centre

Lekdanling - Tibetan Cultural Centre Lekdanling (Tibetan for “place of good fortune”) is a new Tibetan cultural centre located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Hackney, East London.

The centre was created in a spirit of openness and welcomes people from all walks of life who are interested in the study of the human mind, self-development and inner understanding. Before you attend any indoor events in Lekdanling, please make yourself familiar with the protocols we follow to minimise spreading of the corona virus

- drop a check in message on Lekdanl

ing Community WhatApp group when you enter the centre so we can track and trace
- do not attend LDL if you have any symptoms, or if you have recently been in contact with anyone diagnosed with the virus
- wearing face masks is mandatory since August the 8th - so please wear one when you are in Lekdanling.
- wash your hands on arrival and before handling food
- sing quietly during collective practice (singing is said to increase spread of the virus, due to droplets flying out of the mouth)
- maintain social distance as much as possible.

Join authorised teacher Julia Lawless for "Beyond Words: An Introduction to Dzogchen & the Practice of Contemplation" - a three-part course beginning September 19th at Lekdanling.

Schedule:
Morning session - 10:00 - 12:00
Afternoon session - 14:30 - 15:30

The next sessions will take place on following Saturdays October 24th and November 21st

We are pleased to announce a teaching session this Saturday 22nd August at Lekdanling and on Zoom with Igor Berkhin.

The session will include explanation and practice of Guru Yoga of Kunjed Gyalpo, Shine & Lhagtong followed by Ganapuja.

Timings: 10am – 1.30pm UK time (BST).

On Sunday, 21 June, we celebrated Lekdanling's 11th anniversary with the opening of Echoes of a Hidden Light, a photography exhibition by Dorota Dylka. It was a fantastic event which gathered people from all walks of life.

Attendees enjoyed a unique showcase of infrared photography featuring both urban environments and natural landscapes. The depictions of Kunselling and its surroundings were particularly well-received for their captivating, otherworldly beauty.

If you were unable to attend the opening, a second viewing will take place this Saturday, 4th July, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
