With a great mix of sunshine and rain over the last two weeks, the Mudlarks Boulevard garden is growing and changing almost daily! 😊

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who have helped enrich and maintain the garden. Thanks to your hard work, everything has grown tremendously and is now bursting into bloom 🙏.

We're also delighted to see some exciting natural developments this year. A flock of sand martins has been swooping in and out of the garden, clearly finding plenty of insects to feed on! 🐛🦋🪲🐞🦗

The work doesn't stop here, and we'd love your help. If you have an hour or two to spare, join our gardening club and help this green space continue to thrive.🙂

📣 Would you like to help document how our park has changed over the years? 😊

If you live in one of the buildings overlooking the park, we'd love to see your photos! 📸 Take a picture that captures an aerial view of the site and email it to us, along with your name and permission for us to use it in displays and educational materials.

🏡 Then visit us during the summer holidays to see whether your photo has been selected for our Gatehouse display! 💚

For inspiration, we're sharing some wonderful photos taken by our dedicated volunteer Sally in 2003 and 2006, just a few years after the park opened. 🌿 It's amazing to see how much has changed—and we'd love your help capturing the next chapter of our park's story.

Thank you for being part of our community! 💚🙌

Did you know there are around 200 species of grass in the UK? 🌾😮

A meadow can contain up to 20 different grass species!
Early summer, when they come into flower, is one of the best times of year to identify them.

Come and discover the incredible variety of grasses growing in our park. Once you start looking closely, you'll realise they're far more fascinating than they first appear.
We promise: you'll never think grass is boring again! 🌿✨
