What happens when your audience starts making decisions without you?

At Navigate: Now & Next England, Isabel Perry, Global EVP of Strategy at our partner, DEPT®, explored the shift from the human web to the agentic web, and what it means for the customer journey when AI becomes part of the decision-making process.

Her challenge to marketers? Start thinking about two audiences: one human and one AI. Because the next generation of marketing will mean not only influencing people, but also learning how to influence, equip and connect with the agents shaping their choices.

It's a glimpse of the ideas and perspectives our community is exploring together.

And we're taking that thinking further.

Join us at the Global Changemakers Conference 2026: Ambition, where we'll once again bring together some of the brightest minds in business, marketing and beyond to challenge perspectives, spark new ideas and inspire meaningful action.

Your AI is only as good as your knowledge.

If your AI experiments keep producing generic, mediocre answers, the problem is rarely the model. It is what the model has to work from. The next competitive advantage will not come from access to AI. It will come from structuring your knowledge so AI can understand your business, your insight and your brand better than anyone else's.

Jon Block, founder of Syllepsis and a product leader and technologist with over 25 years' experience, explains why knowledge architecture sits upstream of every serious AI initiative, and previews his session at the AI Accelerator Day, including a live demo of what becomes possible when your AI has the right material to work from.

Hear Jon set it up in his own words.

Confidence isn't something you're born with. It's something you build.

At Navigate: Now & Next England, organisational psychologist Antoinette Raymond PhD challenged marketers to rethink what holds them back. Excitement and nerves can feel exactly the same, she explains. The difference is whether we let hesitation stop us or use it as fuel to move forward.

In a world that's changing faster than ever, confidence comes from taking the first step, embracing the unfamiliar and continuing to practise.

It's just one example of the bold thinking shared across our events at The Marketing Society.

The conversation doesn't stop there.

Some months are about the big stages. Others remind us that the conversations around the table can be just as powerful.

July was one of those months.

Across our global hubs, Members came together to challenge ideas, build meaningful connections and explore the future of marketing, leadership and AI. From thought-provoking discussions on wellbeing, Gen Z and personal impact to networking socials and conversations about what's next for our industry, every gathering reinforced the power of learning through community.

A huge thank you to every Member, speaker, partner and attendee who shared their time, ideas and perspectives throughout the month.

Here's to everything August has in store.

AI without the anxiety.

As AI moves from experimental pilots to core infrastructure, the question every leader faces is how to scale it without inviting unmanaged risk. Sacha Wilson, Partner at Harbottle & Lewis, joins the AI Accelerator Day with Senior Associate Shayna Patel to hand senior marketers a practical framework for AI governance, managing risk and delivering reward, across your team, your partners and your business.

No fear-mongering, just a framework you can use.
Hear Sacha set up the session in his own words.

One conversation can change the way you see your work.

At Navigate: Now & Next England, Justin Lane challenged marketers to rethink one of the industry's biggest assumptions: that understanding audiences starts with segmentation. Instead, he explored what it means to truly understand the behaviours, motivations and cultures that drive decision-making.

It's just one example of the bold thinking shared across our events at The Marketing Society.

The conversation doesn't stop there.

In this clip, Dr Ben Warner, Co-Founder of Electric Twin and Former Chief Advisor on Digital and Data to the Prime Minister, explains the technology changing how organisations understand human behaviour, and previews his session at the AI Accelerator Day: The Future of Decision-Making.

It is not anyone else's job to be interested in you.
It's your job to be interesting.

That was the challenge Maz Speaks Global left with our Singapore Members at Beyond the Title, and it sparked an afternoon of honest reflection on what it really takes to stand out in a world competing for attention.

Drawing on her remarkable career creating some of the world's biggest television shows, including Big Brother, The X Factor and The Weakest Link, Maz encouraged us to think less like marketers and more like producers, designing every interaction with intention.

From LinkedIn profiles and meeting introductions to presentations, pitches and first impressions, the message was clear: attention isn't automatic. It has to be earned.

The session challenged us to rethink the stories we tell about ourselves, embrace what makes us different and stop relying on hope as a communication strategy.

A huge thank you to Maz Farrelly for an inspiring, entertaining and refreshingly practical session, and to everyone who joined us, challenged their thinking and brought such great energy to the conversation.

Here's to creating more moments that make people stop and say, "That's interesting. Tell me more."
