Angel Boat

Angel Boat The Angel Boat is a charity that operates a skippered narrowboat for use by local community groups.

The Angel Boat is a charity (Angel Community Canal Boat Trust) that operates a skippered narrowboat for use by local community groups, young and old, for day and residential trips and at a price they can afford. We offer project based trips in partnership with other local organisations from our base at City Road Basin in Islington, London N1 and out into the countryside. We rely on grants and donations, contributions from user groups, and income from private groups hiring the boat.

Some of you may know but if not,
Phil has now retired from Angel Boat. Phil was Project Manager & Skipper for 8 years, he is now enjoying retirement. Though you may see him occasionally back on the Helm.
So the new girl is me, Lindsey, who takes on the role. This is a Dream and I'm following in the foot steps of a Legend, thanks Phil

Annett from Ogury, thank you for this wonderful review.

How to better spend a summers evening office party then on a quaint canal boat cruising up Regents Canal from Islington to Camden via Kings Cross. Or on two boats as it were. What a fabulous evening with cocktails, nibbles and great company. Though the World Cup England game that night was obviously of great importance for which a small screen was of course installed on one of the boats. And the best thing, The Angel Community Canal Boat Trust is a charity providing trips to schools, the elderly or vulnerable people using donations and hire fees.
So if you are looking for a fun idea for your event and do something for the community, get in touch with these lovely people.
