Al Madad Foundation Al Madad Foundation is a UK registered charity committed to the promotion of literacy and education

Al Madad Foundation is a UK registered charity committed to the promotion of literacy and education for disadvantaged children across the Middle East. Through our local partnerships, multimedia artistic expression, intercultural dialogue, educational projects and events we engage international actors to join us in developing and supporting programs to emancipate and empower those most vulnerable

and excluded. START was founded by Al Madad Foundation in 2006, in partnership with Art Dubai, and seeks to educate and empower children through artistic expression. It runs full time art workshops in the UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and most recently, India, reaching over 736 disabled and disadvantaged children per week. International artists are encouraged to volunteer in the field of humanitarian aid and art education by participating in the workshops.

Dr Omar Abi Ali delivering training for with in a project funded by Al Madad Foundation last month. Sessions emphasised the importance of transforming local identity, food, and traditions into meaningful tourism experiences while integrating sustainable and responsible practices. We hope that the women who attended will have the chance to put their skills into practice soon as we continue to pray for peace in Lebanon.

Heading off to school with her gift! We would like to thank RMC for hosting us last week and for the amazing help they are offering medically evacuated Gazan families. The opportunity to meet the participants in our supported English language classes and deliver special Ramadan gifts was a rare moment of light in our work at the moment. We would also like to thank everyone who generously contributed items for the backpacks, especially for their gift of lovely soft toys and age-appropriate books.
