ẸMU ÀTI ÒGÙRỌ̀: TWO TRADITIONAL DRINKS
Ara igi ọ̀pẹ̀ tí ó ń so odi ẹyin ni wọ́n ti ń ẹmu, tí wọ́n sì ń dá ògùrọ̀ lára èrìkò /àko. Ẹmu méjèèjì yín máa díbà fúnra wọn ní. Wọ́n ń lo níbi ápéjọpọ̀ ajẹmáwùjọ, ayẹyẹ, ìtọ́jú àlejò àti àwọn ọdún ìbílẹ̀. Ààyọ̀ ni wọ́n ń pe ẹmu òòjọ́.

Yàtọ̀ sí pé wọ́n jẹ́ ohun mímu, ẹmu àti ògùrọ̀ ṣàfihàn ìmọ̀ ìbílẹ̀ àwọn àwùjọ Yorùbá, òye wọn nípa ọ̀pẹ, bí a ṣe ń dá ẹmu, ìdíbà àti ìṣàmúlò àwọn ohun àmúṣọrọ̀ àdáyébá.
Orísun ọ̀tọ̀ọ̀tọ̀ wọn rán wa létí pé gbogbo èrè oko ló ní orísun àti pé mímọ orísun wọn yóò jẹ́ ki á òye ohun tí wọ́n pèsè.

Ẹmu, or palm wine, is tapped from the oil palm, while ògùrọ̀ is tapped from the raffia palm (èrìkò/àkọ́). Both are naturally fermented drinks with deep roots in Yoruba traditional life. They have long featured in social gatherings, celebrations, hospitality, and cultural ceremonies. Freshly tapped palmwine is called "Ààyọ̀".

Beyond being beverages, ẹmu and ògùrọ̀ reflect the traditional knowledge of Yoruba communities, their understanding of local palms, tapping techniques, fermentation, and the use of natural resources. Their distinct sources remind us of a simple cultural truth: every product has its source, and knowing the source helps us understand what it produces.

Òrìṣà Ọ̀ṣun Ṣẹ̀ǹgẹ̀ṣẹ́ Ọlọ́mọyọyọ, tí a a mọ̀ mọ́ omi, ìṣabiyamọ, ìlọsíwájú àti ìgbéga ìlú. ni wọ́n fi ọdún yín sọrí. Lara àwọn ìṣẹ̀lẹ̀ pàtàkì tí ó máa ń wáyé lásìkò ọdún náà ni kí Arugbá Ọ̀ṣun ru igbá lọ sí Igbó Ọ̀ṣun Arugbá ń ru igbá. Osun Òṣogbo kẹnu tayọ ọdún lásán, ó ń ṣàfihàn ìtàn, ẹsìn, ìdánimọ̀, àjogúnbá ajẹmáṣà tí à ń ṣe lọ́jọ́ láti ìrandíran.

The Osun-Osogbo Festival takes place every August in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria, and is one of the most celebrated traditional festivals in Yorùbáland. The festival honours Osun, the Yorùbá river deity associated with water, fertility, motherhood, prosperity, and the well-being of the community. One of its most significant traditions is the procession of the Arugbá. Every year, devotees, tourists, researchers, and culture enthusiasts gather in Osogbo to witness the festival and experience its rich traditions. More than

Ojúbọ̀ Òronnà wà ní ojúbọ̀ Ìlarò-ó ní Ìpínlẹ̀ Ògùn. Wọ́n fi ojúbọ̀ náà sọrí Òronnà , akíkanjú jagunjagun tí ó ja àjàṣẹ́gun ní Ìlarò-ó. Ó jẹ́ ibùdó ajẹmáṣà fun ẹ̀yà Yorùbá. Bákan náà ni wọ́n máa ń ṣe ọdún Òronnà oṣù Bélú lọ́dọọdún.

Òronnà Shrine is located in Ìlarò -ó in Ògùn State. The shrine is a monument dedicated to Oronnà, a great warrior who brought victories to Ìlarò- ó and it is significant cultural shed for the Yorùbá race. They also celebrate Òronnà festival annually in November.
