Using cardboard, clay, and plants, we’ll work together to build a miniature city of the future. Drop in anytime and help create our collective tiny world!

As we step into 2026, Kensington Community Energy is moving forward with high vision and high ex*****on. This year is about turning ambition into action and continuing to empower our community to shape a cleaner, fairer energy future.

We’re making a strong, focused push to activate our project pipeline — with a new installation firmly in sight for 2027 This means unlocking opportunities, building momentum, and turning community-led ideas into real, local renewable energy that benefits everyone.

🛠 2️⃣ Technical Innovation
We’re also looking beyond what already exists. Our Technical Innovation Team is exploring new ways Kensington Community Energy can help build a fairer, more inclusive energy system from smarter design to innovative models that put people and communities first.

Community energy is about more than power generation. It’s about ownership, resilience, and ensuring the energy transition works for everyone not just a few.

🎉 We’ve done it again! 🎉

What started as a spark has become a beacon of hope 💡✨ On our 7th birthday at the June 2025 AGM, North Kensington Community Energy members voted (see pic — loads of online attendees not pictured!) to allocate thousands of pounds to grassroots projects across our community 💷🌱

We’re especially proud to support 2 of our local schools all made possible through income from our solar panels ☀️🔋 Instead of lining the pockets of distant energy companies, we reinvest in our local future. ❤️

As one of London’s most established community energy co-ops, we’re proud to be part of the movement powered by , whose incredible work just earned the 2025 Outstanding Achievement Award from 🏆👏

We would like to invite you to come, on 24 June at 6pm, to join us and other local project winners, volunteers and NKCE directors at our annual meeting with refreshments, updates, a chance to meet others and general good vibes.

It will be held at Invention Rooms near Westfield and we would love to see you there (friends welcome). That's 68 Wood Lane W12 7TA. We have the space booked until 8.30pm but the proceedings will finish much earlier!
