Age Concern Chiswick

Age Concern Chiswick Helping to make later life better for residents of Chiswick and Brentford Our emphasis is on friendship and combating loneliness.

We are an independent charity (registered number 1164423) run entirely by volunteers and members. We provide a twice-weekly Friendship Club at our own premises where older residents can come to socialise over light refreshments and join in a range of activities, including Bingo, Keep Fit and a Craft Group. From time to time, we arrange outings, tea dances, special lunches, talks and other events. We have links with Age UK which offers us valuable support.

Hello Members and friends,

Lampton Leisure is partnering with Stay Steady and Active to provide Otago and balance sessions for Hounslow residents. There will be two 10-week courses starting on the following dates:

From 31 March - 12pm on Tuesdays at Isleworth Leisure Centre and Library
From 1 April - 11am on Wednesdays at Heston Pools and Fitness

It was the ACC Summer BBQ this afternoon with fabulous food and entertainment in the garden and we couldn't have asked for better weather. A huge thank you to Steve for manning the BBQ, Hester for the decorations, signage and overall entertainment and Maureen for all her homemade cakes and not forgetting all the other volunteers who made it a truly special day.
