We are delighted to share that research from James' Place will be presented at the 21st European Symposium on Su***de and Suicidal Behaviour - ESSSB21 in Vilnius, Lithuania next week.
Titled “Implementing and Scaling a Community-Based Su***de Prevention Model for Men in Crisis: Seven Years of Evidence and Impact,” this body of research will be presented by Professor Pooja Saini from Liverpool John Moores University, and represents the first seven years of our evolution — from a small charity proving a new intervention could work, to a growing four-centre organisation with an evidence base demonstrating how and why the therapy works for thousands of men.
If you’re attending the symposium next week, we’d love for you to join the session and hear more about the work of James’ Place, our research and what we’re learning about supporting men in suicidal crisis.
