💙 15 TEAMS. ONE PURPOSE. ⚽

Tomorrow, 15 teams from across the UK will compete in The Big Goal National Finals.

While one team will lift the trophy and earn the opportunity to represent England at the Corporate World Cup in Turkey, every company taking part is already making a difference.

Through The Big Goal, businesses are helping the Street Soccer Foundation tackle youth homelessness through the power of football, creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, gain employability skills and take positive steps towards a brighter future.

Football brings us together.

At the National Street Soccer Academy Cup 2026, many of the moments captured on camera came from someone who knows exactly what this event means.

A huge thank you to Luca, a graduate of our Brentford Spring/Summer Academy, for taking these fantastic photos throughout the tournament. 📷⚽

Seeing graduates return and give back to the programme in new ways is what the Street Soccer Foundation is all about. From academy participant to event photographer, Luca’s journey is a great example of the opportunities that can be created through sport.

📍 From the classroom to the cup finals. ⚽

The team from the Accrington Stanley Community Trust Street Soccer Foundation Academy joined us at the National Street Soccer Academy Cup recently, where we celebrated the incredible progress they have made during their academy journey.

The academy is about far more than football. It’s about building confidence, learning new skills, creating opportunities and helping young people believe in what’s possible.

Yesterday, Andrew from the Street Soccer Foundation had the pleasure of attending the Leicester City in the Community Street Soccer Foundation Academy session for Week 10 of the programme, focused on Responsibility & Leadership. 🙌

It was fantastic to see the engagement, conversations and development from the group as they continue progressing through the academy journey. 👏

A huge thank you to Market Harborough Building Society, the proud The Big Goal sponsor supporting this academy cohort. As new partners this year, it’s been brilliant to see them already getting involved — including competing in the Midlands Regional Round of The Big Goal tournament, where they finished 3rd in their group. 💙

We now look ahead to welcoming the Leicester City in the Community participants to the National Street Soccer Academy Cup 2026 at St George’s Park 🏆⚽️
