Grey squirrels are largely solitary as adults, but youngsters really appreciate company. Teenage squirrels will eat, play and sleep together — preferably in one enormous, completely indistinguishable squirrel tangle.
There’s plenty of time to be independent later. ❤️

And that short tail? A squirrel can cope perfectly well if only part of the tail has been lost. It may look unusual, but it needn’t stop them climbing, balancing and living a normal squirrel life. ❤️

Spot gave us a real scare!

He suddenly became very ill and unable to pass urine — a potentially fatal emergency.
Our wonderful vet successfully cleared a urinary blockage under anaesthetic, and Spot is now recovering well. ❤️🐿️
His emergency treatment left us with a substantial vet bill. If you can help, we would be very grateful.
