QM Camp is a wrap, what a fantastic 2 days, after building the rafts, there was a morning of races and general chaos on the lake. A massive thanks to Andy our QM and his team on organsing a brilliant camp. Andy also has now acheived his Traditional Rafting Permit! Well done to everyone involved.

The QM Camp is going really well. Our Scouts have been busy building their rafts for the water activities tomorrow, also doing some Archery and Geocaching. It was great to have Mika from Scoutinggroep JJB visit us for the day and run our wide games. They have all been well fed and learnt new skills... like washing up and using a vacuum cleaner!!

Looks like one of our Explorer Belt teams is doing well and making new friends in Bavaria. They stayed in a hostel the first night. Camped with a family last night. Been to a fire station, seen some fighter jets, and had a private concert with a man and his accordion! This team have been supported by Luella, our Future Awards Mentor. Well done guys, and good luck to all the other teams involved.

And that’s a wrap on an unforgettable summer camp!
The Cubs kicked off the morning working as a team to pack down their tents and leave the campsite completely spotless ⛺🧹.
Afternoon activities included a trip to the camp shop for souvenirs and a fantastic game of camp cricket 🏏. We treated everyone to pizza for dinner 🍕 before finishing off with our grand awards ceremony to celebrate all the amazing achievements this week! 🏆
A massive thank you to all of our incredible leaders and helpers whose non-stop hard work made this camp possible, and to the Cubs for being absolute stars from start to finish!
Parents, enjoy your quiet houses tonight—and good luck with the laundry! 😉

Penultimate day done! We kicked off this morning with photo orienteering and getting lost (and found!) in the maze 🧭🧩.
This afternoon we headed off to Guildford Spectrum for a fantastic swim and a go on the slides 🏊‍♂️💦.
Apologies for the lack of photos today—turns out phones and swimming pools don't mix very well! 😉📸
Hard to believe tomorrow is our final day! Time to rest up for one last morning of camp fun before home time. 😴💤

To celebrate 40 Years of Beaver Scouts, our 4WP Beavers joined our Cubs on Camp at Walton Firs for their Activity Day. They had a great day doing lots of activities and joining in with the Cubs. A huge double celebration on camp today as we marked 110 years of Cub Scouts AND 40 years of Beaver Scouts! 🎉🎂
We were thrilled to be joined by all three of our Beaver colonies for the day. While the Cubs took on archery and the climbing wall 🎯🧗, everyone came together for a fantastic afternoon tea-style birthday lunch! 🥪🍰
The afternoon was full of birthday games and decorating commemorative bookmarks. It’s been a busy but truly brilliant day—a massive thank you to everyone who visited camp to celebrate with us!
Quiet tents again tonight after a big party day! 😴💤

Our first full day on camp has been non-stop action!
We kicked off the morning with breakfast and the all-important kit inspection, followed by building camp gadgets and making badges.
The afternoon was packed with high-flying adventure—crate stacking, high ropes traversal, and a bit of paracording to round it off! 🧗‍♂️🎯
After dinner, we played an epic game of Capture the Flag to use up the last burst of energy. Safe to say it worked... camp is very quiet this evening as everyone drifts off! 😴💤
