The Trustees’ policy is to offer a forum for the exchange of ideas and the sharing of cartographic knowledge, and to inform members of technical changes and opportunities that affect their professional standing. Volunteer members manage most of the Society activities. Society
administration is out-sourced.

On this day in 1215, the Magna Carter was signed at Runnymede, Surrey. It was the first document to put into writing the principle that the king and his government were not above the law. This map features main Charter Towns, the locations of Charter copies, associated battlefields alongside existing National Cycle Network routes linking the locations.
