We engage, enable and empower women to move away from abuse, and to move forward with their lives. Established in 1997, Her Centre is a woman-led charity which works with over 1000 women a year, offering support to women who live, study or work in Greenwich. We offer free and confidential advocacy, counselling, outreach, advice and training in the following areas:

🚨 We’re Hiring: 🚨

We are looking to recruit an experienced Health IDVA & Domestic Abuse Trainer to our friendly and energetic team, supporting women experiencing domestic abuse.

About the :
This innovative Health IDVA role is leading the way in building strong referral pathways between GP practices and specialist domestic abuse support. You will:
• Work closely with GP practices across Greenwich
• Deliver engaging in-person and online training to help GPs
recognise signs of abuse
• Manage a caseload of women referred through health services

Our next Open Forum, “International Women’s Day”, is on the 3rd of March 2026 at The Clockhouse Community Centre.

This event will focus on celebrating diversity in our community as lived by women in our borough. Join us in a celebration honouring diversity and the incredible achievements of women from all walks of life. This inspiring event will bring together voices, stories, and experiences that highlight the power of unity and representation. Come connect, learn, and celebrate the strength that diversity brings to our communities.
