We’re an active PTFA and we play an important role in bringing us all together as a school community and in raising funds for the benefit of all our children (we are separate to the Governing body). All our parents, teachers and friends are members of our SJSC PTFA (a registered charity) and through our network of parent / teacher volunteers and supporters we plan and organise events and activitie
s with energy and passion. All our year groups have PTFA reps to help spread the word and make all our parents and carers feel part of our community.We work closely with our school’s senior leadership team to decide where to spend the money we raise. Over the past few years our PTFA has raised funds for a wide range of areas including educational and fun class trips, improvements to our peace garden and covered playground areas, investing in new technology (laptops and digital cameras) and providing playground equipment and outdoor games for the children.
