You can come with your parents,
but also grandparents or any adult who looks after you. Anyone is welcome. We are professionals working with children and parents. We will be waiting for you at the door: to say hello,
to introduce ourselves and ask your name. We will then write it down on the board by the entrance,
so that everybody knows that you are here
and can call you by your name. Writing
down your name on the board when you arrive
is a way of showing that you are important here,
that you count. We will explain to you what the rules are,
so that you feel free to explore and make new friends. And don’t worry: your parents are never far away. They stay in the room with us. They too can make new friends. If they want to, they can talk to us,
or to other parents about their thoughts and difficulties. But they can also do nothing and just relax. To come to B&S,
there is no need to book in advance. We do not charge a fee,
but your parents or the grown-ups coming with you
are welcome to make a contribution. And if you haven’t been born yet,
but your mum is expecting you, she can come as well,
if she feels like talking to professionals --
or even if she just wants to be around other kids and parents,
in order to prepare herself for your arrival.
