Happy Feast Day! On this day honouring St Ignatius, we think of how we carry his message with us through modern times.

He told his followers to 'Set the world on fire', and we seek to share that love and faith with all our supporters and partners across the planet 🌍

Our thoughts are with those in Guyana, particularly all those impacted by the MV Barima ferry disaster.

The Jesuits have a longstanding presence in the country, and the community is honouring those affected by the tragedy through dedicated events and Masses ❤️

We've joined other Catholic organisations in writing to the new Prime Minister, asking him not to approve the Rosebank development.

Our global partners strongly feel the effects of climate change, including those brought on by the use of fossil fuels - we don't need more of them!

Thank you Jesuits in Britain and all who have contributed so far. There is still much to be done on the ground in Venezuela, and we encourage people to continue to support the appeal to help those most in need 🙏

In the wake of the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, Jesuits in Britain has increased its commitment to £50,000 to support the emergency response through Jesuit Missions UK and is inviting the public to help make an even greater impact.

Funds will provide emergency shelter, essential relief items, protection services and psychosocial support to communities facing immense loss.

If you're able, please consider supporting the appeal and sharing this message so it reaches more people.

This weekend marks the fifth anniversary of the death of Fr Stan Swamy, and we continue to be truly inspired by his fight for a fairer world for all.

The 6.30pm Mass on Saturday 4th July at St Anselm's Church in Southall, London, will be held in his honour.

All our welcome to join and pay tribute to the great man, and here at JM, we maintain our call to clear his name.
