13 August β 1 Rabiβal Awwal 1448H
Alhamdulillah, our Complete Recitation of Al-Muwattaβ of Imam Malik (RA) is now underway in Malaysia, and we are delighted to share some moments from the opening Majlis with our community, followers and donors.
The Majlis, known as Iftitah Maulid Nabi (SAW), began on the night of 13 August, marking the beginning of Sayyidul Ayyam. We were honoured to welcome our special guest, Dr Sayyid Musβab al-Khair al-Idrisi, alongside Datoβ Dr Muhammad Fuad bin Kamaludin, Patron of South East Asian Islamic Council.
The evening began with the recitation of Maulid al-Mirghani, composed by Sayyid Muhammad Uthman al-Mirghani (RA), before continuing with the recitation of Al-Muwattaβ of Imam Malik (RA).
By the permission of Allah, the complete recitation is planned to conclude on 12 Rabiβ al-Awwal, the day of the Maulid of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
We are deeply grateful to see scholars, teachers, students and members of the public gathering together in one spirit: to revive the Prophetic Sunnah, preserve the legacy of our scholars, and enliven the days of Maulid by remembering and learning about the life and Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (SAW).
These are the fruits of your support. β€οΈ
For our community across the UK and Europe, we may not always have the opportunity to attend a Majlis of this scale in person. But through your support, you can share in the reward of helping this gathering take place and enabling the recitation to continue until its completion, inshaAllah.
We invite you to continue supporting our Β£20,000 fundraiser:

May Allah reward every donor and supporter abundantly, place barakah in your wealth, accept your contribution as a means of reviving the Sunnah, and allow us to live this life upon the way of our beloved Prophet (SAW) and receive his intercession in the Hereafter. π€²πΌ
