In just a couple weeks, we’ll be travelling to Jamaica to deliver menstrual hygiene and self-care pouches to girls at two schools in St. Elizabeth through the Lignum Vitae Club.

Following the impact of Hurricane Melissa, many communities continue to face significant challenges. Through this project, we hope to provide practical support, dignity and encouragement to young girls as they continue their education.

Every donation helps us provide essential items and deliver this project directly to the girls who need them most.

If you’re able to support, please consider donating or sharing this post.

Every contribution helps put practical support directly into the hands of a girl who needs it. Donation link in the bio💜🇯🇲

Did you have a female relative who was a member of Lignum Vitae Club?
We would love for you to get in touch. We want to future proof the Club for the next generation. We celebrated 50 years in 2019 with a garden party, tea party and church service. We support individuals and charities in the UK and Jamaica. If you would like further information please email: [email protected]

Thank you to those who supported our Black History Month Quiz Night at Sudbury Methodist Church Hall on 25th October 2025. We raised just over £1,300 and will be sending a donation to Women’s Resources Outreach Centre (WROC) in Jamaica for their Senior Club.

A great evening of fun, food and friends.
